Flossie Malavialle
Flossie Malavialle is a French born singer who has been based in the North East of England since 2002. Several years on, she has become an accomplished performer playing at folk clubs and festivals all over the UK (and beyond) and supporting acts such as Fairport Convention and Show of Hands.

Flossie’s powerful yet sensitive rendition of songs combined with her quaint northern twang and humorous banter will no doubt entertain and leave you with a smile.

Her collection of 12 albums (so far) is a reminder of how much work and dedication she has put into her music career: from well established folk songs to jazz standards, from blues numbers to Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel’s classics, her wide repertoire appeals to all.
Flossie will perform 2 X 45 min sets featuring a wide variety of songs, chat and laughter.

As ever, a great night you will remember forever and we fully expect requests for Flossie to return agin to Epping Folk Club...
This recording was filmed live on Netherlands TV a couple of years ago. There are 2 songs - these are:

Teddy O'Neil (Trad Irish) which can be found on my 'Mistral' album
and Amsterdam (Jacques Brel) which can be found on my 'Flossie sings Brel' album.

“Flossie has a voice as clear and tuneful as a lark,
with a pureness of quality to stop you in your tracks in the forest of a song”
Colum Sands

“Flossie’s great! She came over from France and wowed everybody with her sensational voice, her gutsy guitar style, eclectic repertoire and franglais patter”
Vin Garbutt
